Huahua — Terms of Service (DRAFT)

1. Agreement

By using the Huahua app you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

2. What Huahua is

Huahua helps you learn Mandarin through lessons, review, an AI helper (Hotline), roleplay conversations, tone practice, and HSK-style practice tests. It is a learning aid — not a certified exam and not a guarantee of any result.

3. Your account

• Keep your sign-in safe; you're responsible for activity on your account.
• Give accurate info. One account per person.
• You must be 13 or older to use Huahua (same as Duolingo and most language apps). Use by anyone under 13 is not permitted, and Huahua does not offer accounts or a parental-consent flow for under-13 users.

4. Acceptable use

No hacking, scraping, reverse-engineering, cheating the reward system, uploading illegal/harmful content, or abusing the AI features. We can suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. AI features — limits

The AI helper, roleplay, and scoring can be wrong or incomplete. Treat feedback as practice, not a certified assessment. Don't rely on it for important decisions.

6. HSK / learning disclaimer

HSK practice tests are practice only and are not official HSK certification. Scores estimate practice performance, not an official result.

7. Subscriptions & payments

• Free: lessons and SRS review are free (up to a lesson cap); you can try all features with limits.
• Paid: subscriptions and one-time unlocks (including a lifetime option and 1 / 3 / 6 / 12-month plans) are planned for some AI features (Hotline, Roleplay, Tone drills) but are not currently offered in the app. When subscriptions are introduced, prices, the billing period, and any free-trial terms will be shown in-app before any purchase.
• Your free progress is never lost if a paid plan ends.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the period ends. Cancel anytime in your Apple/Google account.
• Billing is handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat; their rules also apply.
• Refunds: manage/cancel anytime; no refund for the unused part of a period; refunds follow Apple's and Google's own processes. Lifetime purchases follow the store's refund window.

8. Content ownership

• The app, design, and Huahua content are owned by PT HUAHUA EDUKASI INDONESIA (or its licensors). The owner confirms Huahua has the rights to ship its curriculum, HSK banks, audio, and generated assets.
• You keep ownership of content you create (e.g., your recordings); you give us a limited licence to process it so the features work (see the Privacy Policy).

9. Availability & changes

We may change, pause, or stop features. We try to protect your progress but can't promise the service is always available or error-free.

10. Ending use

You can stop and delete your account anytime. We can suspend or end access if you break these Terms or the law.

11. Liability

The app and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted under the laws of Indonesia, PT HUAHUA EDUKASI INDONESIA is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability, or any of your rights, that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under Indonesian consumer-protection law, including Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection.

12. Governing law & disputes

Governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the app will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Indonesia.
